BtVS Season 7
2002~2003

Ep. 7.22 > Chosen
After seven years, here comes the all-singing, all-dancing, Slay-tastic conclusion. We find out why Buffy's so half-baked, whether soulful Spike can hack it as a Champion, and a bewildering moral lesson regarding the scourge of magic addiction. Do we find out what the actual plot was, or why we viewers stuck it out to the bitter end? Read on and see what we think.

Ep. 7.21 > End of Days
This is the story of a magic axe, and the girl who wields it... well, mostly it's just about the axe. Buffy takes some time out of her busy apocalyptic schedule to learn all about her shiny new deus ex machina, confer with a wizened old wise woman, and square off for yet another round with her psychopathic preacher playmate.

Ep. 7.20 > Touched
With their megalomaniac leader out of the picture, the Scoobies and Slayerettes can at last get down to business - sexy business! Buffy turns to her last remaining follower for some confidence-building platonic snuggling, while Giles lays hands on an evil minion and Faith finds herself getting a little too cozy with a ticking time bomb.

Ep. 7.19 > Empty Places
At last, it's the moment we've all been waiting for, as the Chosen One finally explodes from sheer self-righteousness in a full-scale public meltdown! Meanwhile Faith organizes a girls' night out, Spike and Andrew run an errand to a mission, and we learn a little about Ubervamp anatomy and a lot about the cot.

Ep. 7.18 > Dirty Girls
Memo to all potential Slayers: When someone tells you he's "a man of God," be sure to ask which one. There's a new henchman in town, and this bible-paraphrasin' super-misogynist has a proposition for Buffy she's just too damn stubborn to refuse. When the deathtrap's a-rocking, don't come a-knocking!

Ep. 7.17 > Lies My Parents Told Me
In which we examine the parent-child relationship, and how awkward it can become when one or both of you are a Watcher, a Slayer, or a blood-sucking fiend. While Giles distracts Buffy with a round of redundant prattle, studly Principal Wood takes Spike back to his playroom for some very physical therapy, and much Oedipal flashbackery ensues.

Ep. 7.16 > Storyteller
We find out what Andrew's doing in the bathroom, and it's not pretty. Sunnydale finally gets its own reality show as the evil nerd-turned-documentarian follows the Slayer posse through their doom-ridden daily routine. But if that Satanic manhole cover in the school basement pops open, will anyone be left alive to watch?

Ep. 7.15 > Get It Done
When recruits drop out of Buffy's army, they tend to do it the hard way, and her latest setback inspires our heroine to new heights of self-righteous oratory. After badgering her comrades about how useless they are, will a dimension-hopping Buffy seize her own opportunity for a demonic power-up? Plus, an item of magical clothing returns, and we don't mean R.J.'s jacket...

Ep. 7.14 > First Date
In this Valentine's Day special, love is in the air, and our heroes find themselves falling into old patterns. Buffy discovers her normal-guy date is anything but, Xander hopes to break his losing streak, Andrew tries to resist the advances of his own creepy suitor... and as for Giles, well, he still has his flash cards.

Ep. 7.13 > The Killer In Me
At long last, the episode we've all been waiting for - an in-depth focus on Willow's pushy new love interest Kennedy, the rich-kid Slayer-in-waiting! Actually, it's technically about Willow and her unresolved grief issues. Meanwhile, Buffy calls a flower shop on behalf of achy breaky Spike, and a certain tedious subplot is resolved...

Ep. 7.12 > Potential
While Giles jets off to pick up another overseas Slayer candidate, a surprise tip indicates there's another one hanging about right there in Sunnydale. You don't suppose it might be a certain someone's pouty sibling, do you? Meanwhile, Buffy does her best to teach that which can't be taught, and a wrinkly old friend returns.

Ep. 7.11 > Showtime
Fresh trainees may be showing up at Slayer Central faster than the bad guys can kill 'em off, but the NeanderVamp's siege is taking its toll on morale. Buffy's solution? Fight... harder! Meanwhile, Giles and Anya discover beauty in the Eye of the Beholder. Or truth, which is the same thing.

Ep. 7.10 > Bring on the Night
The Summers house welcomes new guests when an old friend arrives from England with a pack of skittish cadet Slayers, while a sleep-deprived Buffy throws down with the Piltdown Vamp. Xander fixes stuff, Spike blows bubbles, and dark magic flies straight up Willow's nose - it's like a drug!

Ep. 7.09 > Never Leave Me
With both crazy Spike and evil nerd Andrew (y'know, Tucker's brother) in the hands of the good guys, it's time for some plot-advancing interrogation. At last the enemy is revealed, but the Watchers Council is a little slow to respond... and it costs them their lives!!!

Ep. 7.08 > Sleeper
Has Spike fallen off the wagon and landed in a big puddle of blood? Buffy and the gang launch an investigative effort to find out whether her ex-Baby did a Bad, Bad Thing. Oh, and heads up, Giles!

Ep. 7.07 > Conversations With Dead People
In a Very Special Episode, Willow and Dawn receive highly disturbing portents of doom, the remaining Nerds dig up big trouble, and Buffy gets some free therapy from a minion of evil. Turns out that, psychologically speaking, our girl has one of everything...

Ep. 7.06 > Him
Mad love strikes again, as Dawn falls hard for a high-school jock whose mysterious allure eventually ensnares the entire female cast. Will the reunited loser-roommate duo be able to save the womenfolk from R.J.'s pernicious influence?

Ep. 7.05 > Selfless
Striving to fit in with her fellow vengeance demons, Anya puts a little too much heart into her work, and it falls to Buffy to clean up after her friend's messy justice. Swedish flashbacks, bunny economics, and pointed (ouch!) insights ensue.

Ep. 7.04 > Help
When you assume, you make an ass out of u and me, but what happens when you assist? Seeking the answer, Buffy sets up shop as a guidance counselor at the New, Even More Damned Sunnydale High, and finally meets someone whose fate is even crueler than her own.

Ep. 7.03 > Same Time, Same Place
Willow's home, and Sunnydale's taggers are showing up sans skin. Could there be a connection, or is this a game where two can flay? Since our heroes can't seem to hook up, it falls to crazy Spike and empathetic Anya to pass messages back and forth, while Dawn becomes a living action figure.

Ep. 7.02 > Beneath You
Xander meets cute with a damsel in distress, the New Improved Spike joins the hunt for a puppy-eating burrower, and a classic tradition is revived as the Bronze hosts another knock-down, drag-out demon bar fight. All this plus the next Euro-flick sensation: Die, Lola, Die!

Ep. 7.01 > Lessons
It's time to go back to school, and the High School of the Damned has been rebuilt especially for the occasion. Buffy plays the meddling mom, lands herself a job offer, and runs into an old friend in Sunnydale High's haunted basement. Meanwhile, back in Old Blighty... Willow sees teeth!

BtVS Season 6
2001~2002

Ep. 6.22 > Grave
In the dramatic season finale, Dark Willow wages a sorcerous duel with a Very Special Guest Star, leaving Buffy to run around aimlessly and fall down a hole. Can the power of love avert, once again, the End of the World? And if not, will anyone be left to notice that Anya changed her hair?

Ep. 6.21 > Two To Go
Dawn gets a new babysitter and Spike throws down against a guy with flaming fists. Meanwhile, in the main plotline, Buffy and friends struggle to thwart Willow's quest for spinoff vengeance, and we discover why it pays to be able to tell your Babylonian from your Sumerian.

Ep. 6.20 > Villains
Buckets of angst as Buffy visits the emergency room, Spike launches his vision quest, and Willow begins a sorcerous cross-country rampage - albeit very slowly, since she's traveling on foot. Plus, diverting cameos by Rack the magic pimp, wrinkly Clem, and Oz the Great and Terrible.

Ep. 6.19 > Seeing Red
A lot of forgiveness this episode, and lots of vengeance too. The Nerds get nasty, the Spike and Buffy relationship takes a turn for the worse, and the shocking ending has us so traumatized we can't even make a crack about Andrew getting his hands on Warren's orbs.

Ep. 6.18 > Entropy
Ditching your bride at the altar, trying to turn your buddies into demon chow, using Sunnydale's main street as your personal five-finger discount bin - no sin is so grievous that true friends won't forgive you. Except, that is, for a couple of stubborn holdouts who just aren't feeling the love.

Ep. 6.17 > Normal Again
At last, a perfectly plausible explanation is advanced for the ongoing trauma of the current season - and hey, if Buffy's buying it, why shouldn't we? This one's for everyone who thinks the Slayer's friends and loved ones are due for a bit of psycho-killing.

Ep. 6.16 > Hell's Bells
Find out why people always cry at weddings, as Xander's hellish relatives mix it up with Anya's entourage of, uh, "circus freaks." Will the erstwhile butt-monkey really jinx their big day if he sees his ex-demon bride in her wedding dress?

Ep. 6.15 > As You Were
Just when Buffy thought she'd hit rock bottom, her hunkish ex blows into town to show off his perfect new life. They've given Riley a number, but they can't take away his squinty Matt Damon-esque good looks.

Ep. 6.14 > Older and Far Away
Buffy turns 21, but this time it's all about Dawn, as the Slayer's neglected kid sister finally gets everyone to stay put at the Casa de Summers. Slumber parties aren't quite as fun with a demon loose in the house, though.

Ep. 6.13 > Dead Things
The Nerds' wacky hijinks take a turn for the lethal, and things get even darker for the strung-out Slayer. What with everyone busy hurting the one they love, it's a relief we still have at least one Good Witch on call.

Ep. 6.12 > DoubleMeat Palace
The Slayer encounters a whole new realm of horror as she hires on at Sunnydale's local fast-food franchise. So what's really in those burgers, anyway - cows, chickens, or something even more sinister? Hey, you know Puffy Xander will eat it.

Ep. 6.11 > Gone
The Nerds' latest wondergadget gives Buffy a fun new superpower, but taking a vacation from yourself turns out to have a downside. Can Willow save the day using only her old-school science geek abilities?

Ep. 6.10 > Wrecked
Journeys into Degradation continues, as Buffy wakes up on the wrong side of the floor and Willow starts hanging around a spurious magic crackhouse. But what about the children?

Ep. 6.9 > Smashed
In the first installment of a Very Special Two-Part Episode, Willow and Buffy succumb to their deep dark impulses. An old "friend" returns, somebody's got a freeze ray, and guess who Came Back Wrong?

Ep. 6.8 > Tabula Rasa
Can't forgive? Well, you can still forget. Willow attempts to make up for her ill-advised use of magic with more of the same, and our heroes' amnesiac stumblings are interrupted by an incursion of toothsome loan sharks.

Ep. 6.7 > Once More, With Feeling
The Big Musical Episode, in which the devil comes to town and makes everyone dance and sing. Buffy drops a bomb, Tara gets a clue, Giles finally makes up his mind, and "Feet of Flame" takes on a whole new meaning.

Ep. 6.6 > All The Way
It's Halloween in Sunnydale, and that means monster tricks and magic treats for all. Xander and Anya make a Big Announcement, while pumpkin-smashing is just the beginning of Dawn's latest foray into juvenile delinquency.

Ep. 6.5 > Life Serial
The Slayer continues her readjustment to this whole being-alive thing by taking on a series of comical subsistence jobs, an effort complicated by the meddling of the Evil Nerds. Brighten up, Buffy - there's always kitten poker!

Ep. 6.4 > Flooded
In which we learn to fear the dreaded Full Copper Re-Pipe. The Slayer's no longer dead, just dead broke, and her efforts to get her financial house in order are complicated by a trio of would-be supervillains.

Ep. 6.3 > Afterlife
After you claw your way out of your own grave, what do you do for a followup? Rather than go to Disneyland, Buffy contends with a demonic "gift with purchase" and blurts out an ugly secret to an unexpected confidant.

Ep. 6.2 > Bargaining, Part Two
Buffy's friends scurry before an invasion of actual Hell's Angels, leaving the heroine to finish up her own resurrection. General unpleasantness ensues for everyone.

Ep. 6.1 > Bargaining, Part One
As season six begins, we find our heroes have spent the summer moping about and trying to keep Buffy's demise on the hush-hush. Though the Slayer role is nicely filled by a chipper BuffyBot, Willow leads the gang in an effort to revive their dead pal with high-octane black magic.
