Profile: Up until she met Buffy, Willow was a plain-Jane bookworm and science nerd. Following in the footsteps of the late Jenny Calendar, she became mighty in the ways of both computers and sorcery, making her one of the most valuable of the Slayer's allies. Unlike her friends Buffy and Xander, Willow is thriving in the heady environment of higher education.

Chevy Impaler's Assessment: Willow's ongoing slide into power-mad megalomania has been sidetracked by a spurious "magic addiction" plotline, forcing her to revert - for now - to her classic science-and-technology toolkit. While her abuse of her powers screwed things up pretty badly with her girlfriend Tara, Willow seems to sincerely love her, which is more than we can say for some of the other character's relationships.
