Profile: Originally a vaguely-defined blob of magical energy which functioned as an interdimensional key, Dawn was transmogrified into human form by a clan of inexplicable mystic monks, who sent her to Buffy in the form of a sister and thoughtfully rewrote everyones' memories to make it seem as if she'd been there all along.

Chevy Impaler's Assessment: As much as we adore Dawn, and although she's been receiving some pretty shoddy treatment from the ostensibly responsible adults, she's had little to do of late but pout and screech and stomp out of the room. Being hunted by a mad hell god had its downside, but at least she was getting some attention.
